about me

Hi there, welcome to my portfolio! I’m Lauren Scoopo, a graphic designer from Connecticut.

What I love most about design is the ability to create a piece that can impact a person. Whether it is informative, influential, or even makes them laugh.

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved puzzles and problem-solving. Finding that one piece you need to finish a section, stepping back, and realizing you created an image made up of 1000 little pieces. That is how I view design. Looking at an asset library, researching the space, and coming up with various ways to efficiently tell a story. Except, you usually don’t have an image of the final product to compare to as you go along (which is so exciting).

I graduated from Quinnipiac University, where I majored in Graphic Design and Advertising and minored in Psychology. Throughout my time at Quinnipiac, I not only focused on my coursework, but also served as captain of the university’s kickline team for two years. I grew up dancing and being involved in the arts. This led me to Quinnipiac, specifically the graphic design program. I love to create. Whether it’s graphic design, choreographing a dance, or drawing, that’s what I am passionate about. I love music, as you will see throughout my work, and am often inspired by the artists I listen to.

I hope you follow along in my journey as a young professional in the ever-changing design world.
